There's been a lot of debate about which Kaidanovsky is which. My personal headcanon is that she is Aleksandra, which sometimes gets mistranslated as Aleksis, nicknamed Sasha. He is Aleksei, also nicknamed Sasha. They both get endless entertainment out of the confusion it causes.
